What makes it special? The front of the note (at the bottom left) contains raised dots that help the visually impaired recognize the denomination of the note.

Did you know? January is Braille Literacy Month, which celebrates the system of raised dots on paper that allow the visually impaired to read. Braille was developed by Louie Braille, a French educator who was born on January 4, 1809.

Total graded by PMG: As of January 2023, the PMG Population Report includes 212 examples of these notes, including three that qualified for PMG's Early Releases designation.
