What makes it special? The note features the Concorde, a supersonic jet that first flew 45 years ago, on January 21, 1976, and remained in operation until 2003. Synonymous with the pinnacle of commercial aviation, the planes were primarily operated by Air France and British Airways, but Singapore Airlines did lease one. The note also shows Singapore Changi Airport, which was new at the time the circulation-issue Singapore 20 Dollars from the Bird Series were issued.

This Concorde is part of the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum in New York City.
