PMG Grading Tiers

US and World Notes: An attribution fee of $5 per catalog number is charged when notes submitted are not accompanied by proper catalog number (e.g. Friedberg, Pick, etc.)

A $10 adjustment fee will be charged for submission forms that must be modified prior to processing. This includes forms with more than one tier listed and bumps in tier levels due to undervalued notes.

Note: Please limit notes to 50 per submission form. For bulk submissions, please limit notes to 100 per form. Use multiple submission forms as needed.

Custom Holder

Small: Select the $25 Small Custom Holder tier for notes and/or sheets sized between 205 x 220 mm and 305 x 350 mm. Must be submitted on a separate invoice.
Large: Select the $50 Large Custom Holder tier for notes and/or sheets sized between 305 x 350 mm and 400 x 470 mm. Notes or sheets larger than 400 x 470 mm cannot be encapsulated by PMG. Must be submitted on a separate invoice.

ReGrade

If you disagree with a grade assigned by PMG, you may submit the note for review for a higher grade. Note must be intact in its PMG holder. Also choose a grading tier according to note value and desired turnaround time.

Variety

Pedigree

Reserved for information pertaining to a private or public collection. (Ex: Ford Collection). Submit copies of auction lots and plates, sales invoices or other backup of pedigree.

CrossOver
(Also select a grading tier)

Review of PCGS Currency-holdered notes for PMG certification. Notes will be removed from their holders only if PMG believes that the notes will meet or exceed PMG’s standards for the grades assigned by PCGS Currency. If PMG does not believe that the notes will meet PMG’s standards, the notes will be returned in their PCGS Currency holders and the grading fees will be refunded less a $10 processing charge per note. If you would like the PCGS Currency-holdered note certified by PMG regardless of the PMG grade that it will receive, write CROSS AT ANY GRADE in bold letters on the PMG Submission form. PMG’s grading fees will be discounted by 20% for CrossOver submissions designated as “CROSS AT ANY GRADE.”
