What makes it special? This note depicts the legend of Ina and the Shark. Ina sought to meet up with her love – Tinirau. But to get to him she had to cross the dangerous ocean. No creature would take her except for the shark. Ina gathered some coconuts and rode the shark to find Tinirau. At one point in the journey Ina was very thirsty, but she had nothing to open the coconut with. The shark told her to use his dorsal fin to open it up. As this journey was very long, Ina got thirsty again. This time she didn’t ask the shark and opened the coconut on his head. This is how the hammerhead got its shape and why it has a bump on its head. Eventually Ina was reunited with Tinirau.
