PMG Registry Featured Set: Test Notes

With the arrival of summer, students everywhere are celebrating the closure of schools: no more classwork, no more homework and no more tests. However, testing of a different kind never ceases. In the world of paper currency, running test notes is a frequent occurrence. Let’s look at a popular PMG Registry set here that is composed of test notes and other unique printings from around the world.

When one thinks of test notes, they typically envision a bank performing a trial run to ensure printed currency will look as it should. Muzzer42 has collected several colorful bank test notes, including lovely examples from the Banco de Mexico and the Banque de France, in their PMG Registry signature set.

But upon closer examination, one will notice some unusual pieces. From Charlie Brown, Donald Duck and Pink Panther ATM test notes from Switzerland to Tesla test notes from Canada, this set has drawn a lot of attention and a lot of views in the PMG Registry. Traditional paper money collecting is logical and, of course, historical in nature; it can be serious and mathematical.
