PMG-certified East Africa Specimen Offered in April Auction

Hundreds of world banknotes certified by Paper Money Guaranty® (PMG®) are being offered in a Heritage Auctions sale this month. Online bidding is currently underway, with the sale concluding on April 30, 2021.
The top lot is an exceedingly rare East Africa, Currency Board 1920 500 Florins = £50 Specimen graded PMG 55 About Uncirculated (lot 28231) that is the highest value of an extinct denomination. In the PMG Population Report, there are only two examples graded. This specimen has an estimate of $30,000 and up.
