PMG Registry Featured Set: A Superb Singapore Set with Intriguing Serial Numbers

Posted on 11/17/2020

This month’s featured set belongs to Ian Yan.

This month, we present the colorful Singapore, 1967-Date, Complete with Replacements set by a new and very active PMG Registry member, Ian Yan. Ian began assembling his set only a year ago, in October 2019. He has been carefully upgrading his notes and climbing the ladder in the PMG Registry ranks. With his most recent addition just a few weeks ago, he currently sits in the #1 spot for this particular set category.

What is most notable about this set is the interesting assembly of serial numbers Ian Yan has managed to compile. They are carefully described in reference to other notes in the series and include rotator serial numbers, solid serial numbers, and the elusive lucky number 8, among others. Be sure to check out his unique set here.

Ian has made it clear he is passionate about his collection, and we are thankful he has shared it with the PMG collecting community. Thank you, Ian!
