Large-denomination Notes Among PMG-certified Rarities in Spotlight at April Heritage Sales

Other highlights include two notes from Zanzibar and valuable selections from the Dauer collection.

Two large-denomination banknotes that are each expected to sell for six figures are among the thousands of notes certified by Paper Money Guaranty® (PMG®) that are featured in three currency sales being conducted by Heritage Auctions in April 2020.

Originally scheduled to be held in conjunction with the Central States Numismatic Society convention in Chicago, the auctions are now based in Heritage's hometown of Dallas with online bidding. Here are PMG-certified highlights in the sales, including one featuring world rarities from the Drs. Joanne and Edward Dauer Collection, in which all 196 lots are PMG-certified:

US Currency - April 22, 2020

A 1934 $5,000 Federal Reserve Note (Philadelphia) graded PMG 55 About Uncirculated.
