PMG-certified China Note Expected to Realize Six Figures in Hong Kong Auction

Paper Money Guaranty® (PMG®) certified numerous important banknotes that will be featured in the Heritage Auctions HKINF (Hong Kong, China International Numismatic Fair (HKINF) World Paper Money Signature Auction, taking place December 4-5, 2019. One standout note is expected to realize more than $100,000 (USD).
A People’s Republic of China 1951 10,000 Yuan graded PMG 25 Very Fine NET has an estimate of $135,000 to $160,000 (USD). This high-denomination First Series Renminbi (RMB) note is considered to be the key to the entire RMB series. Featuring a band of horses herded by one rider, the note had a limited distribution in the Inner Mongolian and Xinjiang, China provinces and is extremely rare today.

- A Bank of China 1913 100 Dollars Specimen graded PMG 66 Gem Uncirculated EPQ with an estimate of $15,000-$20,000 (USD).
- A China Ch’ing Dynasty 1857 (Year 7) 100,000 Cash graded PMG 20 Very Fine with an estimate of $15,000-$20,000 USD.
- A China Hupeh Government Mint 1899 $1 = 7 Mace 2 Candareens graded PMG 30 Very Fine with an estimate of $15,000-$20,000 (USD).
- A China Yung Feng Kuan Chu 1853-59 Private Issue 1,000 Cash graded PMG 12 Fine with an estimate of $10,000-$20,000 (USD).
- A China 1922 100 Dollars Color Trial Specimen graded PMG 63 Choice Uncirculated with an estimate of $8,000-$12,000 (USD).
- A China 1924 100 Dollars Color Trial Specimen graded PMG 55 About Uncirculated with an estimate of $7,000-$10,000 (USD).
