NGC, NCS and PMG at HKINF in June

Posted on 4/25/2019

Expedited grading and free paper money evaluations will occur at the companies' HKINF booths D12-D15.

Numismatic Guaranty Corporation™ (NGC®), Numismatic Conservation Services™ (NCS®) and Paper Money Guaranty™ (PMG®) will attend the Hong Kong, China(China) International Numismatic Fair (HKINF) at The Mira Hotel, being held June 28-30, 2019, in Hong Kong(China).

The companies will offer the following services at booths D12-D15 in conjunction with this show:

Free PMG Evaluations

Adam Howerton, a PMG Grading Finalizer, will be conducting free evaluations of paper money. Evaluations will be provided 10:00 to 12:00 and 14:00 to 17:00 on Friday, June 28 and 10:00 to 12:00 and 14:00 to 15:30 on Saturday, June 29.

To ensure that we help as many people as possible, there is a limit of 10 notes per person for the free evaluations. Evaluations are provided on a first-come, first-served basis.

Note: Because evaluations are performed in a show environment, as opposed to our standard grading environment (with proper lighting conditions and facilities), all opinions should be used only as a guide. The grading opinion may change after the notes are submitted and evaluated at our office.

Educational Symposium

NGC, NCS and PMG are sponsoring an educational symposium on Saturday, June 29. The symposium will feature three numismatic presentations and will be held at the Mira Hotel, 3rd Floor.

The presentations will be:

  • 2pm – “Polymer Banknotes – The Future of Banknotes,” Stane Straus, Polymer Banknotes Expert
  • 3pm – “Collecting Modern Chinese Coins,” King L Chan, Modern Chinese Coins Expert
  • 4pm – “NGC and PMG: Expert and Impartial Certification,” David Camire, NCS President and NGC Grading Finalizer, and Adam Howerton, PMG Grading Finalizer
