PMG-graded Notes Among Highlights in Spink Hong Kong Auction

Rare Hong Kong notes graded by PMG are among the special items in the March sale.

PMG-graded banknotes are among the highlights of Spink's Numismatic Collector's Series Sale auction, to be held at the Hua Fu Commercial Building in Hong Kong March 26-28, 2019.

The top lot in the auction is expected to be a China 1905 Yu Chuan Honan Official Bank 1 Tael, a large and very rare note from near the end of China's Imperial Era. Graded PMG 30 Very Fine, it has a pre-auction estimate of HK$1,000,000 to HK$1,300,000 (about $127,000 USD to $165,000 USD).
