December Heritage Auctions Feature Rarities Graded by NGC and PMG

A modern NGC-certified Chinese coin and a PMG-graded banknote from the late 19th century are among the rarities in two sales by Heritage Auctions in Hong Kong, China in December. Highlights of these sales include:
2018 December 6-7 HKINF World Coins Signature Auction - Hong Kong (December 6-7, 2018):
- Lot 30258 – A 1995 China Gold Pattern Proof Dragon Boat 500 Yuan, graded NGC PF 69 Ultra Cameo. Estimate: $150,000 to $200,000.
- Lot 30130 — A 1889 China Kwangtung Kuang-hsü Silver Pattern 3 Mace and 6 Candareens (50 Cents), graded NGC MS 63. Estimate: $150,000 to $180,000.
- Lot 30070 — A 1906 China Kuang-hsü Gold Pattern Kuping Tael (Liang), graded NGC MS 63. Estimate: $130,000 to $150,000.
- Lot 30071 — A 1907 China Kuang-hsü Gold Pattern Kuping Tael (Liang), graded NGC MS 62. Estimate: $90,000 to $110,000.
- Lot 30072 — A 1907 China Kuang-hsü Gold Pattern Kuping Tael (Liang), graded NGC MS 61. Estimate: $80,000 to $100,000.
- Lot 30257 — A 1995 China Gold Proof Ancient Dragon Boat 500 Yuan (5 ounce), graded NGC PF 69 Ultra Cameo. Estimate: $90,000 to $110,000.
- Lot 30060 — A 2001 Australia Gold Year of the Snake 3,000 Dollars (gram), graded NGC MS 67. Estimate: $35,000 to $40,000.
- Lot 30061 — A 2002 Australia Gold Year of the Horse 3,000 Dollars (gram), graded NGC MS 69. Estimate: $35,000 to $40,000.
- Lot 30235 — A 1919 China Yuan Shih-kai Gold 20 Dollars, graded NGC MS 63. Estimate: $15,000 to $20,000.
- Lot 30314 — A 1986 China Gold Proof Panda 1,000 Yuan (12 ounce), graded NGC PF 67 Ultra Cameo. Estimate: $15,000 to $18,000.
- Lot 30313 — A 1986 China Gold Proof Panda 1,000 Yuan (12 ounce), graded NGC PF 67 Ultra Cameo. Estimate: $15,000 to $18,000.
- Lot 30307 — A 1984 China Gold Proof Panda 1,000 Yuan (12 ounce), graded NGC PF 65 Ultra Cameo. Estimate: $15,000 to $20,000.
- Lot 30417 — A 1906 Japan Meiji Aluminum Proof Pattern 1 Sen, graded NGC PF 62. Estimate: $14,000 to $20,000.
- Lot 30026 — An Egyptian Ptolemy III Euergetes Gold Octodrachm, graded NGC Choice AU 5/5 Strike - 4/5 Surface. Estimate: $20,000 to $25,000.
- Lot 30089 — 1901-1905 China Kuang-hsü Custom House 10 Cash, graded NGC MS 66 BN. Estimate: $10,000 to $20,000.

- Lot 28224 (ten notes) — A 1920 Proof Set of Chinese American Bank of Commerce 1; 5; 10; 50; 100 Dollars, graded PMG Choice Uncirculated 64 and higher. Estimate: $15,000 to $25,000.
- Lot 28235 — A 1907 Deutsch-Asiatische Bank - Peking 50 Dollars, graded PMG Extremely Fine 40. Estimate: $12,000 to $20,000.
