PMG Registry News

This month, we have many new offerings from the PMG Registry. For our collectors of world notes, we share news from the Bank of China and the Banco Nacional Ultramarino. These banks recently confirmed the upcoming release of four new Macau, China zodiac notes. The colorful notes, next in the lunar series, are two Year of the Dog notes and two Year of the Pig notes, scheduled to be released in 2018 and in 2019, respectively.

These colorful and popular lunar notes will be available in several sets:

• Macau: Macau Complete, 1905-Date, P1a-Date
• Macau: Banco da China, 1995-Date, P90-Date
• Macau: 10 Patacas, Lunar Series, 2012-2023, P115-Date

The Banco Nacional Ultramarino has also confirmed the upcoming release of a new 10 Pataca note and a 1,000 Pataca note.

The 10 Pataca note is similar to the previous note (Pick #80) from this bank. It will feature an orange and rose color scheme with a depiction of Goddess A-ma on the front and the bank headquarters on the back. There will be a new signature and date.

The new 1,000 Patacas will have an orange and yellow color scheme with images similar to those on the last 1,000 Patacas (Pick #84) from the BNU. The front will feature the Macau Cultural Center on the front and the bank headquarters on the back.

These two new notes will be available in the Macau: Macau Complete, 1905-Date, P1a-Date set.

Along with the addition of the upcoming Macau notes, we are pleased to offer two new China sets:

• China: Bank of China, 1919 Issue, P56-P60, Complete
• China: Bank of China, 1925 Regular Issue, P63-P65
