PMG-graded Notes Realize Six Figures at ANA Auctions

The currency auctions in Philadelphia featured a number of PMG rarities.

PMG-graded notes from the US and Zanzibar realized six figures in Heritage Auctions sales at the World's Fair of Money in mid-August. Meanwhile, Stack's Bowers sold a PMG-certified uncut sheet of four 1899 $1 silver certificates for $180,000 (USD), far above its pre-auction estimate.

Here are highlights from the auctions held at the American Numismatic Association's premiere annual event, which was held in Philadelphia.
