NGC Shanghai Relocates to New, Larger Office Space
Posted on 11/2/2016
NGC Shanghai Business Information Consulting Co., Ltd. (NGC Shanghai), the China affiliate of NGC, NCS and PMG, is pleased to announce that it will relocate to a new, state-of-the-art facility on November 7, 2016.
The new facility was purpose-built inside of a luxurious high-rise building in the Xintiandi District of Shanghai to support NGC grading, NCS conservation and PMG grading services. At 1,500 square meters—four times the size of NGC Shanghai’s current space—the larger facility will allow the company to expand and enhance its services for collectors and dealers in China.
NGC Shanghai’s new facility was modeled after the headquarters of NGC, NCS and PMG in Sarasota, Florida, USA. It replicates the same proven processes and protections that are used successfully by the companies in the United States.
High tech security systems are in place throughout the facility to prevent unauthorized access and safeguard collectibles. NGC Shanghai’s large walk-in vault provides an optimal storage environment for these collectibles with advanced security protections as well as temperature and humidity controls.
All of these security measures and climate controls are monitored 24/7 by teams in both China and at the US headquarters. In addition, redundant power ensures that these systems continue to function in the extremely rare event of an electrical outage. Submitters should enjoy peace of mind knowing that their collectibles are safely stored and handled while in NGC Shanghai’s care.
To continue to streamline its grading processes, NGC Shanghai has expanded upon a proprietary computer system that will help to ensure the integrity of its procedures and improve the efficiency of its operations. This software logs submissions and records the precise date and time of each function, as well as the person who performed that function.
“Our new state-of-the-art facility in Shanghai will further our commitment to provide the best services to collectors and dealers in China,” Steven R. Eichenbaum, Executive Director of NGC Shanghai and CEO of NGC, NCS and PMG. “We are extremely grateful for the support that our companies have received in China, and we hope that we can reciprocate by exceeding the expectations of our customers at every opportunity.”
NGC Shanghai’s new office will officially open on November 7, 2016. It will offer full time grading of modern coins on all business days and host periodic on-site NGC vintage coin grading, NCS conservation and PMG grading events.
All submissions to NGC Shanghai should be made through one of its five Official Submission Centers in China. To learn how to submit to NGC Shanghai and contact one of its Official Submission Centers, visit NGCcoin.cn/Submissions
