Hear What Dealers Are Saying About the Note Verification Tool

Have you tried the Note Verification Tool yet?

Our enhanced online Note Verification Tool has seen quite a bit of use since its introduction. The tool, which can be found at PMGnotes.com, is free for users and will verify the certification and authenticity of US notes that PMG has graded.

Currency can be verified by PMG certification number or by serial number. For notes currently in a PMG holder only the certification number is needed to confirm the notes authenticity. Notes that are in any other holder or are raw can be verified using the serial number, catalog number, bank charter number and plate position. After entering the note’s information, the resource provides information on the Note Number, Country, Description, Seal Type, Signatures/Vignettes, PMG Grade and any comments on the note. If no information is returned, the note most likely was not graded by PMG.

Currency dealers see great value in the tool and we have received some wonderful feedback. Scott Lindquist says "I have always found PMG’s grading standards strict but consistent and their Service unmatched. The Verify function is a wonderful addition which adds another level of transparency. I have always felt that PMG grades accurately and for my customers who demand this kind of consistent, precise grading, this tool offers easy comparison of grading services and their standards. Now instead of finding this information by other means like Track & Price it can easily be found in less than a minute with a few lines of short data input. Now I no longer have to worry about getting a crossover guarantee from the party I am buying other notes from - I can do the due diligence myself. Thank You PMG for adding this wonderful feature and tool."

Meredith J. Hilton of Kagin’s adds, “The note verification system pioneered by PMG may be their best innovation to date. Coupled with their new tamper resistant holder, PMG has raised the standards of grading paper money. My clients demand consistency and when they add paper money to their numismatic portfolio, they want the assurance and certainty that PMG provides. With this new note verification system, PMG has taken the grading of paper money to the next level."

Thank you to everyone for your feedback. And if you haven't tried the free online note verification tool, yet - give it a try.
