PMG Now Offering Officially Licensed America250 Label to Celebrate US Currency, Past and Present

PMG® is thrilled to announce that it, like NGC®, is now offering a label featuring the official America250 logo of the United States Semiquincentennial Commission, which was established by Congress to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. The official America250 logo will be made available to paper money collectors and dealers on the PMG certification label to mark this important milestone in American history.

The PMG America250 label prominently features the official America250 logo on the right side of the label. Available exclusively from PMG, it is the perfect way to celebrate US paper money, including the historic notes being released this year.

A milestone for America and American numismatics

Plans for official Semiquincentennial events and initiatives began a decade ago, in 2016, with the establishment of the US Semiquincentennial Commission. The non-partisan body was tasked with organizing special events and initiatives to mark this significant milestone in American history. The Semiquincentennial is an opportunity for Americans to reflect on the nation's past, present, and future, while celebrating the contributions of all Americans throughout history. PMG is proud to have partnered with America250 to celebrate this important event in American and numismatic history.

To commemorate the 250th anniversary of the United States, the Department of the Treasury announced that it will issue the first currency to bear the signature of a sitting US president. It is extremely rare for US paper money to change except for periodic redesigns that are linked to enhanced security features.

• Available for any US paper money submitted directly to the PMG Headquarters in the US. (Note: This label is not available for submissions made to a PMG location outside of the US.)
