PMG-certified Solid Serial Numbers Take Center Stage in Crown Currency Sale

More than 1,300 rarities certified by Paper Money Guaranty® (PMG®), including dozens of notes with fancy serial numbers, are being offered in Crown Currency Live Auction 50 on February 17, 2026.
Among the top highlights of the notes with fancy serial numbers are more than two dozen Solid Serial Numbers. These include a Philippines 2010-16H Bangko Sentral 50 Piso with a Solid-1 Serial Number graded PMG 65 Gem Uncirculated EPQ (lot 1234) and a China / People’s Republic 1999 1 Yuan with a Solid-9 Serial Number graded PMG 68 Superb Gem Uncirculated EPQ (lot 213).
The auction also includes dozens of coins certified by Numismatic Guaranty Company® (NGC®), including a Netherlands 1809 Kingdom of Holland 10 Stuivers graded NGC MS 65 (lot 1841). It depicts Louis Bonaparte, the King of Holland and younger brother of the French emperor, who eventually forced him into exile. This coin is unsurpassed in the NGC Census out of a dozen there.

- a Korea, Bank of Chosen 1916 50 Sen graded PMG 58 Choice About Uncirculated (lot 1128)
- a Suriname, Centrale Bank 2000 10,000 Gulden Replacement graded PMG 64 Choice Uncirculated EPQ (lot 1445)
