Crown Currency Offers PMG-certified Rarities from Impressive Netherlands Collection

Nearly 200 vintage Netherlands banknotes from the Theo van der Waal Collection that are certified by Paper Money Guaranty® (PMG®) are being offered in a Crown Currency Auctions sale. Bidding is already underway for Auction 48, which concludes on December 27, 2025.
Among the highlights is a Netherlands, State Note 1878-94 10 Gulden graded PMG 20 Very Fine. It is one of only 24 examples of Pick# 1 in the PMG Population Report, with only seven graded higher. Bidding for this large-format rarity is likely to reach several thousand dollars.
