AmiPrijatelj's set is 88% complete and has a PMG Registry score more than double the closest competitor. The slideshow is a fascinating walk through French paper money, from the carefree days before World War I right up to when the Franc faded away in favor of the euro. The impressive slideshow ends with the 2000 500 Francs celebrating the lives of Nobel-winning scientists Pierre and Marie Curie.

In announcing the award, the PMG Registry team noted that collection "showcases the rich heritage of French banknotes, from classical designs to modern artistry. Each note adds a layer to France’s historical and cultural narrative." Merci, AmiPrijatelj, for sharing your amazing set of notes with the paper money collecting community!

Congratulations to all the winners of the 2025 PMG Registry Awards, which were announced at the ANA World’s Fair of Money! Winners receive a personalized plaque, an icon of recognition next to their PMG Registry set and a $500 PMG grading credit.
