More than 500 world banknotes certified by Paper Money Guaranty® (PMG®), including a great rarity from Syria, are being offered in an auction presented by Noonans Mayfair. Bidding is already underway for the World Banknotes auction, which concludes on August 27-28, 2025.
The top PMG-graded highlight in the auction is a Syria, Banque de Syrie et du Grand-Liban 1925 50 Livres graded PMG 35 Choice Very Fine NET (lot 1115 x), with an estimate of £30,000 to £36,000 (about $41,000 to $49,000).
