PMG Year of the Snake Label Now Available

Celebrate banknotes issued for the next animal in the lunar calendar with a new certification label offered by Paper Money Guaranty® (PMG®). The PMG Year of the Snake label is the latest addition to the popular Lunar Series of special labels, which feature the Chinese Zodiac.
The Chinese calendar, rooted in ancient lunar cycles, assigns an animal sign to each year in a repeating 12-year cycle, with each animal representing specific traits. The Year of the Snake is the sixth in this cycle, and people born under this sign are thought to embody the snake’s qualities: wisdom, intuition and a calm, observant nature. Celebrated most recently in 2013, the next Year of the Snake begins on January 29, 2025.
The PMG label showcasing a red snake is available for banknotes issued by a variety of countries celebrating the Year of the Snake, or any note dated 2025.

The labels are available by request to all submitters of Year of the Snake notes or any 2025 note for a fee of $8 per note. Customers who want this label should write in bold letters on their submission form: Year of the Snake #0394.
