MKMITTAL offers a stunning presentation of the evolution of Indian paper currency over the past 100-plus years. With updates made to the set as recently as a few weeks ago, MKMITTAL shows his dedication with a great attention to detail. At 99% complete, this set demonstrates a level of collecting that is no easy task, as it boasts images and comments for an impressive 110 notes! Sprinkled with many PMG "Top Pops," including the Top Pop note graded PMG 69 Superb Gem Uncirculated EPQ above, his slideshow here should not be missed.

MKMITTAL holds a special interest in collecting these notes and offers his personal reflection on his set: “Each and every note of this set is close to my heart,” he writes, noting that it features many fancy serial numbers, including Repeaters, Solid Serial Numbers, Ascending Ladder and Descending Ladder notes. He adds: “Among them all, my one favourite note is from Portrait Notes of King George V Pick #5 as ORDER OF THE STAR OF INDIA - HEAVENS LIGHT OUR GUIDE. The British Crown bestowed this honour through the order of knighthood to Indian Kings, as well as British officers and administrators...”
