A highly coveted Una and the Lion is also found in the November 18 sale, which showcases rare coins certified by NGC and banknotes certified by PMG.

Highly prized vintage gold coins from Europe are among hundreds of rare world coins certified by Numismatic Guaranty Company™ (NGC®) and banknotes certified by Paper Money Guaranty® (PMG®) offered in an upcoming sale. Bidding is already underway for the 35th Ginza Coin Auction, which will be held on November 18, 2023.

A standout coin in the sale is a rare Bohemia (1612-19) Prague 10 Ducats graded NGC MS 60 (lot 823), with a starting price of 30,000,000 JPY (about $198,000). This coin is known as the Three Emperors for the rulers featured on its obverse. They are Maximilian I and his grandsons Charles V and Ferdinand I, who ruled the Holy Roman Empire in succession from 1508 to 1556. Together, the Habsburg rulers established their land as a formidable force in Central Europe.
