Mavin Auction Features Asian Rarities Certified by PMG and NGC

Singapore notes with fancy serial numbers are among hundreds of banknotes certified by PMG in the November 18 auction.

Hundreds of collectible banknotes and coins from Asia that are graded by Paper Money Guaranty® (PMG®) or Numismatic Guaranty Company® (NGC®), are up for bids in the upcoming Mavin International Auction 64 on November 18, 2023.

Among the highlights is a set of 25 Singapore, Board of Commissioners of Currency 1999 100 Dollars with fancy serial numbers graded PMG 58 Choice About Uncirculated EPQ to PMG 67 Superb Gem Uncirculated EPQ (lot 109). The lot, which includes 10 low serial numbers and nine solid serial numbers, has an estimate of at least SGD95,000 (about $69,000). The Board of Commissioners of Currency Singapore was established in 1967 as the authoritative institution responsible for issuing and managing Singapore's currency, after Singapore's separation from Malaysia.
