Submitting Making American History Coin & Currency Sets

Notes from the Making American History Coin & Currency Set will receive a special pedigree. Follow these instructions to make submitting easier.

The US Mint has released the Making American History Coin and Currency Set. The set includes a 2012-S American Silver Eagle Proof Coin and a Series 2009 $5 note. The set is on sale from the US Mint .

The note from this set will receive our standard label and be pedigreed as 2012 Coin & Currency Set. Special instructions must be followed in order for the note to qualify for this pedigree.

Submission Instructions:

  • The set may be sent intact or just the panel with the note. If the set is sent intact, the coin and packaging will be returned with the graded note.
  • Select the Economy Tier or higher. Five (5)-note minimum waived.
  • The note for this designation must be on its own submission invoice. The note cannot be mixed with other notes to qualify for this pedigree. Please fill in the pedigree column on the submission form with 2012 Coin & Currency Set.
  • If you want the coin graded by NGC, include the NGC submission form and PMG will forward the coin for grading.
