What is this... Russian Note?

Thanks, Condor! That was enough to start with. It is a 3 Ruble Interest Bearing note that is usable in trade. It was a pre-revolution way of funding the government. Although they sold for face value, no interest was ever paid--or a few collected small interest payments--because the communists demonetized the notes after the revolution.


I was just curious to see if this was something that my grandfather may have used during his youth in Lithuania. From what I can tell from some "light" research, it was possible. THANKS!
