I have a series of 4 1935 silver certificates that are missing the IN GOD WE TRUST on the back. Is this an error or just design difference? One is a star not also and is in awesome shape. I also noticed there are different treasurers and names on two of the others. None of my local shops seem to know anything and two if they are errors or rare would grade high.

IRISHBONZ4U,

This is not an error but a design change. “In God We Trust” was added to the back of the 1935G $1 and has varieties with and without the motto for that series. The motto was included on the back of all notes following the 1935G series.

Generally speaking, a non-motto note is worth about half as much as a with-motto note. Neither would be considered a "rare" note.
