    Thanks again, Ali!
Fortunately (for me) I'm more looking to the future and what I expect my "next steps" for 2021 to be so I don't expect I'll even "feel" the freeze. I think I was only 3 months ahead of myself when I asked for the Soberano set in the first place.

For some reason I'd gotten it in my head that it was the 6th of December but I don't know why / how. It's almost always that first Friday.
Crazy to think the year is almost over and we have ~1.5 months left. Of course, it usually feels like December is just a deadzone / lull and the competitive part of the year is just 11 months from Jan to early Dec.

Well, I'm very late to this party, but, I can't give you three people posting but I can give you a bunch of notes. Part of the fun of the Zimbabwe collection from P-1 to P-104 is watching how some denominations compare across series and with time.

No. I've never tried anything like that. There was a time when a guy in front of me paid for two beers with 28 mercury dimes. I bought them off the very confused clerk with 3 $1 bills.

They both seem to have the lower transmittance that is the hallmark (IMO) of the old gen, green tint holders...
Not sample holders, but the following two images were made at basically the same time using the same imaging method (cheap scanner) and the old gen holder image is just so much darker.

I can get to the journals but its a pain in the rear. I'll just save them on my computer then copy and past when the problem is fixed, I should probably be doing that anyway.

Trivia contest or the like could be fun around here, guess the grade, real or fake, etc. Just for bragging rights and the education.

I won a sample note from PMG back when they ran a trivia contest for members (yes, those were the good 'ole days).  It was a Malaysia, Bank Negara Pick #51 1 Ringgit ND (2012) PMG Unc Sample PMG Collectors Society Trivia Contest SN AG6140428 PMG 1528092-028 Sign. Z.A. Aziz, - Polymer Note
I don't have a pic to post (Sorry), but it's at least one generation removed from the current PMG holder.  It is the only sample holder in my collection.  If there's a massive groundswell of demand (i.e. 5 likes on this post ought to represent a groundswell around here), I'll dig it out and post a pic.

Would PMG be willing to add a set in the Zimbabwe registry for either:
    1) P-99 to date (including the Bond Notes (P-99 and P-100) and the new 2019-2020 series notes.
    2) P-101(?) to date, with just the new $2, $5, $10, and $20 notes (so far) for the new series from 2019 and beyond?
I'd prefer option 1, just because that would give us a competitive set that includes the Bond Notes and because the Bond Notes are still being honored / circulated with the new series notes because of the supposed "cash shortage."
I was previously told no on a new set for the Bond Notes when it was just the two bond notes from 2016-2017, but, now that we could have a set with 6 notes / slots (and possibly more, depending on how this goes) I thought it worth a shot to ask again.

You can type your Cert # into that slot, you will get a not valid for slot message, PMG will see that you tried to enter a Cert # review it and then if valid the'll add that Pick # to the slot along with your note. Usually only takes 24hrs for them to add your note and they'll send you a confirmation email when it's done. See Ali's response to me further up the string.
LOL, I just did this again for one of my sets a few minutes ago.

    Hello @Fridsou,
If this is for an existing submission please contact customer service with the invoice number at the email below. The Bulk Consecutive Tier is for 50 or more of the same catalog number with consecutive serial numbers. If there is one break on the serial number run they may make an exception but please check with customer service to confirm. I would recommend asking this type of question in the "Ask PMG" section moving forward. Thank you

Revenant got a reaction from Matt G in PMG Achieves Another Major Milestone: 5 Million Notes Certified
Because I have too much time on my hands I guess, I went looking and couldn't find anything on the 4 million milestone even though I could have sworn that I saw it last year. I may look more later.
I did find the article about the 2.5 million milestone being hit in mid-January of 2018.
    https://www.pmgnotes.com/news/article/6372/pmg-grades-2-and-a-half-million-notes/
With the company founded in 2005, that suggests that it took about 13 years to do the first 2.5 Million and about 2.25 years to do the next / 2nd 2.5 million. That's quite a bit faster - about 1/6th the time.
I have a few more notes for my Zimbabwe Hyperinflation set coming in next week that I'm quite excited about. I've started to see some Zimbabwean notes pop up on the market with your special 15 year label. That was a bit of a surprise to me - I'd been thinking that people weren't really submitting these much anymore because the value on them has come down so much it's nearly impossible to recover the grading fees in a sale, but at someone out there is still submitting at least a few! If I'm being honest I thought about picking up one or two of those 15 year label notes just for the novelty of it.
    Keep on keeping on!

Quick search seams to place the 4 millionth note graded between 4/19/19 and 5/1/19 according to wording in articles and dates.

Yes, it drives me crazy but there is nothing that can be done. They process so many notes that some come out with crooked labels and crooked notes. I am a real perfectionist so looking at crooked notes in a beautiful holder makes me grind my teeth, but I am assured that I am an outlier regarding this appearance issue.
