Technicolor! Queen of Notes....King of Pain

Technicolor! Queen of Notes....King of Pain

More genius on my part I am a genius. I buy notes graded high and have them regraded, cut their value in half and effectively throw money into the wind. I am clearly a currency genius. To see old comments for this Journal entry, click here. New comments can be added below.

After a real grader does the job!! It's "gem like" because someone, I have no idea who would do this, sprays shellack on the note. "Gemlike" turns to NET!! To see old comments for this Journal entry, click here. New comments can be added below.

Lame Me Part II

Can anyone guess why I am lame? Please give me feedback. I want to hear your opinion. Is losing money a necessary part of collecting notes? Please, more experienced people tell me what I can do other than exhibiting my very low IQ To see old comments for this Journal entry, click here. New comments can be added below.

Christmas Came Early

Christmas Came Early

Never felt so happy to get a 15 Happily Surprised Sending notes in to be graded can be a real shoot. Sometimes lucky 7 comes up and sometimes you out. PMG has graded over 1 Million notes now, with a total of (2) 1935 Mules from the M-A block. My 1935 set is now 100% complete. To see old comments for this Journal entr

A Diamond in the Rough!

A Diamond in the Rough!

A Diamond in the Rough! Well very Rough! What do you think it will grade? I just picked up this very very rare note. It is truly a Diamond in the Rough. If you don't believe me check the population report on this note. FR. 1607m 1935 MULE M-A Block $1 ONE DOLLAR SILVER CERTIFICATE. It has a population of ONE and it is a 20. What is a mule, you ask? In the case of 1935 mules, they are actually 1935 faces printed on 1935A backs! This is easily determined by the back plate size number.
