PMG reaches this exciting achievement at the start of its 10 year anniversary.

Paper Money Guaranty® (PMG®) has announced that it has graded its 1 millionth note. It is the first third-party paper money grading service to reach this important industry milestone.

This accomplishment comes as PMG celebrates its 10th anniversary this year. Founded in 2005, PMG has grown to become the world’s largest independent paper money certification service because of its commitment to accuracy, consistency and integrity as well as its comprehensive guarantee of grade and authenticity, the strongest in the industry.

“This remarkable achievement illustrates the transformative effect that PMG has had on the hobby of paper money collecting in the last decade,” says Mark Salzberg, chairman of Certified Collectibles Group (CCG), the parent company of PMG. “Collectors and dealers around the world have embraced PMG because of the added confidence that comes from its expert grading, resulting in higher prices realized and greater liquidity for PMG-certified notes.”

Headquartered in Sarasota, Florida, PMG has opened offices around the world to keep up with the growing demand for its expert authentication and grading services. PMG now has locations in Hong Kong, China; Munich, Germany; Zurich, Switzerland; Shanghai and Guangzhou, China; Singapore; and Seoul, Korea.

PMG’s rapid international expansion has been propelled by particularly strong interest in Asia. PMG has now certified more than 150,000 Chinese notes, more than 70,000 Korean notes, nearly 45,000 Hong Kong notes, more than 35,000 Malaysian notes and nearly 25,000 Singaporean notes.

“These figures reflect PMG’s position as the market leader and the market’s widespread acceptance of PMG certification,” adds Salzberg. “We are honored by the support that we have received and we will continue to expand upon our role as the world’s preferred third-party paper money grading service.”

PMG is an independent member of the Certified Collectibles Group (CCG).
