PMG Registry Adds Military Payment Certificate Category
The PMG Registry continues to grow! Many new sets have been added to increase the participation and excitement for collectors of PMG-graded notes. Most notable is the addition of the Military Payment Certificate category, with three new sets: Military Payment Certificate Complete Denomination Set, Military Payment Certificate Fractional Denomination Set and Military Payment Certificate Regular Issue Set. These sets are meant to encourage collectors of MPCs to register their PMG notes in a diverse and collector-friendly fashion. Participation in the PMG Registry is free; all that is required is that you register on the Collectors Society site to begin. For more information, click here.
Other sets that have been recently added for Large Size notes include: Silver Certificate Types 1880 to 1923 and Legal Tender Type Set 1862 to 1923. These sets were created in response to users’ requests based upon general collecting practices. Also in response to user requests we have separated many of the type sets so that the premium for Star Notes will only be applied in the sets noted as “with Star Notes.” This change was made so that the members who do not collect these notes will have their own sets where they may compete separately from those who do collect star notes.
